Tiffany Hodgson MPAS, PA-C

Tiffany has worked as a Physician Associate in New Zealand since 2012. She helped set up and participate in the Ministry of Health PA pilot in 2013-2015. She completed her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies at Loma Linda University, California in 2010, and later that year made New Zealand her home with her Kiwi husband and now two daughters. She has worked in three different GP clinics across the Waikato region and loves serving her local community.

Tiffany’s other passion is match-making quality PAs with supportive clinics around Aotearoa. She enjoys getting to know the PAs and Doctors to assure there will be a good match from the start

On the weekends, you will find her with her family in Tirau with their many animals or boating on a lake somewhere.  

Jess Wright MPAS, PA-C

Jess grew up across the United States, living in many states from Alaska to Georgia. She graduated with Honors and Distinction from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and went on to complete her Physician Assistant training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She first practised internal medicine for nearly four years in Eugene, Oregon, and then primary care for another four years.

In early 2022, Jess and her husband relocated to New Zealand, initially settling in Auckland before making Christchurch their home. She currently works as a PA for a South Island dermatology clinic.

Outside of work, you will find Jess running competitively, specializing in distances from 5K to half marathon, or gardening and skiing in her free time. 

Shelly Collins MPAS, PA-C

Clinic Liaison • PA Jobs NZ

With over 20 years of experience as a Physician Associate (PA), Shelly has worked across diverse specialties, including general practice, otolaryngology (ORL), palliative care and urgent care Her passion for education led her to roles as an Associate Professor in two PA training programs in the US, where she was honoured to help shape the next generation of healthcare providers. 

Originally from the United States, Shelly moved to New Zealand in 2020 with her husband and daughter. She began her NZ career at Te Hiku Hauora in Kaitaia, serving rural communities for a year before transferring to Papakura and Papakura East Medical Centre in 2021. 

Shelly has been a key figure in NZPAS (New Zealand Physician Associate Society) since her arrival, serving on the Executive Board since 2020—first as Vice President for two years, then as President for three years. She also chairs the NZPAS Education Committee, driving forward professional standards and training for PAs in Aotearoa. 

Outside of medicine, Shelly enjoys gardening and cheering on her favourite ice hockey teams in Auckland.
